Shawna Davies

Controller

As the Controller at DuBois Levias Law Group, I bring a blend of financial expertise, operational leadership, and personal resilience to my role. With a career spanning international trade, banking, and law firm accounting software implementation, I focus on connecting financial strategy with the practical, operational needs of our legal professionals.

I grew up in the small town of Libby, Montana, and my professional journey took shape after I attended Seattle University, where I developed a lasting appreciation for the Pacific Northwest. I started my career in international trade and banking with Seafirst National Bank and Bank of America before transitioning into legal technology. Working as an implementation consultant specializing in law firm accounting software, I discovered how much I enjoy helping firms improve their financial systems, efficiency, and overall processes.

Honestly, I once swore I would never work directly for a law firm. But I found the perfect exception in DuBois Levias. It took finding the right firm to change my mind. DuBois Levias truly values its people, creating a supportive and flexible environment that allows us to succeed professionally while prioritizing our families and communities.

Since joining the firm, I have focused on strengthening our financial operations and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellence. I am also deeply committed to leadership and service within the broader legal community, and I am honored to serve as President Elect for 2026–2027.

Outside of work, I am a proud mom to three amazing children—two graduates, high school and college, and a college junior. I stay active in my community as a 4-H leader in the Bellevue area, where my oldest daughter and I share a passion for raising and showing rabbits. Whenever I have free time, you will find me exploring the natural beauty, local cuisine, and vibrant communities of the Pacific Northwest.
