Paralegal

In my time as a family law paralegal, I’ve seen firsthand that no two cases are the same. Every day presents a new challenge. By working collaboratively with our clients, opposing counsel, and the courts, we are able to adapt and respond to just about anything that arises throughout litigation.

Being part of improving a client’s situation—particularly as they navigate something as stressful and emotionally charged as divorce, separation, or custody disputes—is such a privilege. I love being part of someone’s solution and doing my best to make the process as smooth as possible for them. Helping clients through domestic violence matters and working to ensure the safety of both clients and children involved is especially meaningful to me.

I have deep respect for the people at DuBois Levias and the work we do. We genuinely care about our clients and want to see them succeed. The relationship between our team and our clients is close, respectful, and professional. Recently, a client told us they were so happy with the outcome of their case and so impressed by the quality of our work that they wished they could work with us professionally. It was incredibly rewarding to know we had helped them and that they felt such a strong connection to our team.

In addition to being advocates, we take the time to listen and do everything we can to make people feel comfortable, supported, and heard throughout what can be a very stressful process. The firm’s strong yet approachable mission, combined with its emphasis on inclusivity and support, made me genuinely excited to join this outstanding team.

In college, I discovered a deep interest in law, society, and justice courses. Writing and debate have always come naturally to me, which made transitioning into a paralegal career feel like a natural fit. After earning my B.A. in English from the University of Washington, I completed my paralegal certification through Seattle Central College.

I was born and raised on Bainbridge Island, Washington, and have lived in Seattle for more than 10 years. While I think it would be an adventure to live elsewhere someday, Washington will always feel like home. It offers everything I love—from the outdoors, to incredible food and drinks, to the closeness of family and friends.

Outside of work, I enjoy staying active. I am a long-distance runner and continue learning and growing through my yoga practice. I love hiking and spending time with my partner and our cats, Jack and Jones. My creative side comes out through cooking and drawing, especially creating pet portraits. I also volunteer several times each year at the Nordic Heritage Museum, supporting the team during museum events.
