Paralegal, Limited Licensed Legal Technician

A lot of intense emotions come up in a divorce for good reason: there’s a lot at stake. Having a background in mental health allows me to understand the emotional needs of our clients and tailor my approach accordingly. I enjoy helping clients through it all—especially to the other side of a difficult experience.

I started my career working in the alternative healthcare industry. I owned my own practice as a state-certified clinical hypnotherapist, trauma release specialist, and NLP life coach. After transitioning to law, I worked my way up from answering phones to training and developing paralegals and attorneys. I got my start in civil litigation and creditors rights, but soon realized I wanted to make a bigger impact and make a positive and meaningful difference in people’s lives. That’s how I found family law.

I took the bar exam to become a Limited License Legal Technician (LLLT) because I believe in equalizing access to legal advice. I owned my own practice primarily taking pro-bono and low-bono family law and domestic violence cases and volunteering at legal clinics. The most impactful part of family law for me is knowing that clients and their children are safe and on the road to healing.

Too many firms put profit over people. That is positively not the case at DuBois Levias Law Group. It’s affirming to be part of a firm where people come first. Everyone here goes above and beyond for our clients—with kindness, skill, and compassion. I joined DLLG because I wanted to surround myself with the best in the industry to continue evolving professionally. There is so much talent in this office. It’s an amazing place to work.

I was born and raised in Seattle and have always called the Pacific Northwest home. Outside of work, I try to spend as much time outside as possible, paddle boarding, kayaking, boating, hiking, traveling, or learning a new skill or hobby.
