Rebecca Leonard

Paralegal

About Rebecca Leonard

I’m continually inspired by our clients and their transformations. Almost every day, I get to witness the growth and resiliency of the human spirit. It’s incredible to watch someone rebuild their life and create something new.

I love my job even more when hearing that a previous client is doing well in their new chapter of life. One person I worked with is now in her first year at law school. It’s gratifying to know she had a positive experience with our team through a challenging time.

As a paralegal, I help to create space for each client at their specific stage in a case. My background working with families and children affected by divorce or custody disputes helps me prioritize what’s most important.

After graduating from Seattle University with a dual degree in Psychology and English, I worked for the nonprofit Childhaven. That experience informed my career. It gave me a glimpse into family law and how impactful it can be on young children. I knew I wanted to work directly with families and support them as they navigate divorce.

I came to DuBois Levias Law Group because I love the environment. It’s collaborative with an emphasis on work-life balance. My personal and professional accomplishments are celebrated by everyone here and I feel like a valuable member of the firm.

I was raised in Boise, Idaho, and moved to Seattle for school. I fell in love with the city and how close it is to the mountains and ocean. I moved back to Eagle, Idaho, to be closer to my family.

Outside of work, I love to spend as much time outdoors as possible with my partner Gabe and dog Cooper. Walking, hiking, and running are our favorite activities. I tap into my creative side while cooking and trying new recipes. Recently, I started painting acrylics and collecting vinyls. I also volunteer at an addiction recovery center and do outreach for family members and loved ones.
